Elephant Candle

Original design of the elephant intended for the safest, cleanest and functional sculpture. After chiseling the idea from a plaster sphere I cast the chiselled plaster sculpture in silicone to make replicas. These replicas are cast from the silicone mold (varying a 1/4 success rate) using environmentally soy wax and are currently unscented. At their widest point are 14mm in diameter and known as a pillar candle, the shape of the sphere produces the least mess of any pillar candle and since I'm told by my friends that an elephant in the home represents stability and knowledge in eastern cultures, I thought this fitting due to the years of research and design, sculpture and casting, mold making and candle failures that went into this elephant. This elephant is entirely vegan (as most wicks found in candles are coated in beeswax) this wick is threaded by a candle wick maker who does not coat their cotton wicks in anything. As I am still calculating the burn time after many weeks I think this elephant shall be useful in an apocalypse, I shall update the burn time accordingly, ongoing as it is.
